We like to travel around in the world of quality electronic music here at Amper Klub, as you could see before on countless occasions. At the end of November, N’to will be our guest with Chriss Ronson and the DAIDAI crew to take us one step further on another journey across the universe of house and techno. Read the rest
Some of you may have already spotted our monthly schedule in the latest Made in Pécs, but we have uploaded it also. We hope that you are as excited about the programs as we are. In the first month of the first season of our existence, we were trying to bring DJs from every part of the electronic music scene. From house to techno and from drum’n’bass to trap, there will be all sorts of music playing in the Amper Klub. We are bringing in DJ legends – like Caspa, LTJ Bukem or Zombie Nation to Pécs along with a huge list of Hungarian DJs.
We should have taken a master course in synesthesia to be able to describe how the Amper Klub is going to sound with it’s built in Funktion-One soundsystem. So instead we are going to talk a little about how we got to the point when we asked the small english sound engineering crew to come to our hometown with their bags of equipment.
Amper Klub is located at Czinderi street 6. The mental GPS of some people will automatically plan a route to the former Cyrano Club, and quite correctly we may add. Coming down on Irgalmasok street, make a left turn into a small street right before Forrás üzletház. If you happen to be facing Árkád you are right on track (and if you are facing the Centrum, you should turn 180 degrees) Just come right up almost as far as you can and you will find the club along the wall on your right.
The former Cyrano Club has gotten a huge revamp. From Czinderi street the average pedestrian couldn’t see much, just that the huge metal “CRN” letters were removed from the wall. But underground there were so many things to do. Maybe the hardest part was to get the cherry red resin floor into place. We even had to stop working for weeks because we had to wait for it to dry.
